Families In Harmony is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families through supportive programs, meaningful connections, and community-based initiatives. Founded as the charitable arm of The Harmony Home Family Resource Center, Families In Harmony extends this work through preventative, family-centered support that reduces barriers and creates opportunities for youth and families to build healthier relationships and thrive.
Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage healthy communication and conflict resolution, and support safe family reunification by connecting youth and families with resources and services that promote positive relationships.

We envision a community where youth and families have the support, resources, and opportunities needed to build healthy relationships, overcome challenges, and thrive. Through stronger family connections and a supportive community, we strive toward a future where families can grow and move forward together.
Our Leadership
Erin Duerson
Erin Duerson is the Founder and Director of Families In Harmony. With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, she brings a strong background in child welfare, family services, and community-based support. She holds a Master of Social Work degree, along with certifications in Child and Family Services and Peace, Justice and Conflict Transformation. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed practice and a commitment to helping families navigate challenges, develop healthy relationships, and access supportive resources. Through Families In Harmony, Erin is dedicated to helping youth and families resolve conflict constructively and build healthier futures.
